I do realize how many of you are set in your ways to challenge the hidden lords and so the creatures that loom over us as their tools. Do be careful, yes? A poorly chose move could result in another mess for the rest of us. Keeping homes in one piece as well as I suppose yourselves seems the better plan.
Try not to cause ill to the rest of us.
On another note, this weather is soon to be moving on to warming currents, I do believe. When that time comes my goal is to make better use of the innards of Madison Square Garden. If anyone has any qualms of such, you may discuss it with me at that location. I refuse to answer anyone over this network.
((Maybe this time I won't go on a giant hiatus for him toget stomped on work on this project. If anyone does want to have words with him and are not fixated with finding the missing folk, I'll have an open thread up shortly XD))

Larsa. You are well?
Final touches are about complete…
She would have appreciated this.
She would have appreciated this.
Has anyone seen Tron? I checked her garage, where she should rightfully be, but she isn't to be found.
Oh yes, as the weather gets colder, instead of working towards the city, there are parties to be held! Let up celebrate in this time, where it seems the crab and creature have given us a bit of leave, stead of put our efforts towards survival! How wonderful.
I wish you all a warm season.
This city's citizens are childish.
((It's cold, he's bitter. If anyone is still around MSG they've probably seen him walk around in a thick fur coat XD;;))

Blast this weather.
I suppose it is about time to put focus into some real work again. My previous progress lays buried under rubble from the last attack, but even if it was a loss, I shall survive. Such work would only assist with my survival, and not help me leave this place. And it seems we will be here for quite some time, so there is time enough for a large-scale project. Even if the monster could wipe it out with a change of moods...
My first question goes to the residents that lived here previous to the attack, or even to the ones who has explored enough of the city. Is there an aerodrome of sorts here? Surely you people have gotten into the skies before disaster.
It matters little if there is anything, but scraps from your old ships would be of use.
Secondly, as many people are making their way from Madison Square Garden, I would like to take the central area as a place to work on my newest project. What that project is, if you must know?
An airship. I think it best to gather as much material as possible, scrap or otherwise, before I begin to draw up preliminary designs. One must see what he has to work with, after all! ... so if anyone is willing to make themselves useful...
The time for haste is necessary! Although in this sort of environment such a project will take time. Far too much time, and with the monster lurking about, there is no telling how things will 'fly.'
But one hardly wants to spend the rest of his life in this desolate Manhattan.
((Yeah, don't worry, I fully know that either 1.) He'd never get far with it or 2.) Big Momma would probably manage to step through it if he did. Though he does expect it'd take years anyway.))

I wonder... is it really the monster pulling us all here? A special ability, perhaps? Or maybe it's someone - a group, even - doing it? Manipulating our worlds, drawing us in to play in this little rat experiment. Monster or manipulation, it would have to take a lot of power to do all that, I'd imagine, and at the rate it's been happening. What's the source, I wonder?
...What else could one do if they had that power in their hands... Such a glorious thought, isn't it?
Oh if anyone risks crossing paths with a certain bangaa, it would be wise to stay clear - I'd imagine he's quite looking to tear his way through something about now. Although that's hardly any different than always, I suppose.

[Private to Ba'gamnan // easy to hack, as he's not paying full attention]
I remember who you are now. You're Gabranth's little pet, aren't you? The one he whistles to when he needs the dirty work dealt with, keeping it all hushed as much as he can, but it's easy to know where his table scraps go, if you know where to listen.
Although he could have found a better pet, I'm sure. He always was a disappointment, himself.

Blast, I'm still alive.

((Any of what Cid says can and will be blamed on delirium, his regular dramatic self, believing he’s not going to be remain alive, and will probably take most of it back later, lol. Oh. And also don’t expect any replies, but please comment away :D Strikes are basically an inaudible mumble, but it had to go there XD;))
[He draws in a sharp, raggedy breath] First and foremost…… The girl. She’s a young, bright mind, and her life shouldn’t be put to waste like - [he stops himself, curses, and then more quietly and frustrated] - …She better have gotten there… [he clears his throat, mutters to himself for a bit then seems focused again] Like this. We were going South-East from Madison Square Garden. Towards… Landmarks… oooh… what was it… East 10th…
But please. I beg of you. She’s gone off, probably in no condition to. There isn’t - [he sounds frustrated again] There is little I can do for her in… in my own condition… I’m… certain that she will [breath is coming off more ragged] that she can survive until then… she’s young and hardy… Or… perhaps too young… to survive? No-no-no -I should have had a daughter.
…Secondly… after already supposed to have died, and recently nearly finding myself trampled by that beast… I do believe my luck with “living” has come to a close… Ooooh… perhaps I’ve gotten too old for… all this… [he heaves a dramatic sigh] Or maybe I can put blame to the creatures here, or the desolate city of Manhattan itself… - is this thing actually dead… - however, it all falls to the same, treacherous point…
…Blasted creatures… [the sound of something a decent size shifts and hits ground, perhaps, and he curses again, in pain this time] Get rid of them. Doing more harm… than good…
What was it I was saying…… Ahhhhh yes… I remember… Although it is doubtful you would believe me anyway, Ffamran, your mother – well – your mother would be proud of you…She would want you to know, I’d imagine…
[a bit of silence]
……… oh dammit, someone just find Tron –

Ffamran.
[a long pause, as if he's debating with himself, but then is finally gets out, a bit quietly, and possibly worried (although he doesn't want to admit it)]
Are you safe?
Has anyone managed to capture one of these 'crabs'? Or, has anyone even thought up a way to contain a crab, were they to capture one? Hm. I'd say, it would not be my forte, but studying creatures are the best way to understand them, is that not true? Even so, I'd imagine it be difficult to subdue one without actually killing it. Hm...
Live captures aside. What about a dead one? There are many scientific-inclined minds in this city, it seems, surely someone has took a glance at the inner-workings of these beings?

[Private to Tron; medium-level]
Ah, Tron, I wonder if it would be at all possible to borrow one of your Servbots for a bit of a delivery? It's far too hot for me to do it, and I wouldn't want the acquaintance of mine to have to face the heat herself. For that matter (although I believe you would have figured something out), are you in need of an air conditioner? I've fixed up most of the ones in my general vicinity.

Another peculiar turn of events. Hmm... a bangaa here. Though something about the name... Oh no, never mind that. Still, this desolate city has an odd selcction of its "guests." I wonder, is there any rhyme or reason to it?

Unbearable, this heat. [sounds of metal on metal, quiet tinkerings] I've almost finished repairing this air conditioner at least, which should make things better, one can only hope. No one wants to do work in this sort of weather.
Ah... there we are now. That should do it.
[after a moment, a small buzzing sound starts, he 'hmms', and then the buzzing clicks into a loud hum]
Wonderful!
[Private; medium]
Hn. By now that pair are presumably 'reunited.' I hope there was no mistake in that, though it would have happened sooner or later. It matters little, I suppose.
Though perhaps I should have given a warning of the bigger problem, but then, she can be heard coming from quite a distance away, and who would be foolish enough to try and challenge her alone, even if one is new to this place?

Ah, by the way Sara, I thank you for your help before. I believe these firearms will do quite the job. Though, perhaps I will try to... hm... improve them some. Slight modifications, for now. I must get use to working with the older technology here. I do suppose electricity is better than nothing, at least.
Yep, more ref stuff. Lol. He'll probably have an actual journal up tomorrow maybe.
( Pictures and such of new pistols, thanks to Sara's help. )

For the record, google rocks. I typed in "NYC 14th" and Google Maps gave a list of businesses along the street :D So I didn't have to guess.
( What? He can take things apart lol. And maybe use the parts. )
332 East 14th Street
The south side of 14th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

Now, where is a likely location to pick up a projectile weapon or two? A gun would be exceptional. I would rather not go sniffing about blindly, however, trying to find something. Doesn't seem like a wise course of actions.
But then, really, any weapon shop would do. Just knowing a fair location, or general area, would do some good.
[Private; Medium]
Ffamran is in this city as well. That, I'd say, is the most troublesome of all. It doesn't help that he's said I've been "dead" for a year. I remember my downfall, yes, but surely it has not been as long as he says.
But then, pirates are not to be trusted. He's obviously lying.
At least it's good to know that some young minds are actually put to use, stead of being tossed aside to the foolishness of pirating. Peculiar young girl, but still, she might just prove to be of use to me. And I'm curious as to how this "Gustaff" of hers progresses.
..... Isn't that right, Venat?
